Almeriane was born in Almería, Spain in 1973.

She was then raised in France, when her parents decided to move to the Paris suburbs during the seventies.

As a young child, Almeriane was showing colors attraction and the need to express herself, therefore she started drawing at the early age of 3.

While in France, she tried many techniques in her childhood like charcoal or pastel, before eventually ending up using oil painting and watercolors primarily.

Almeriane, study there enjoying the heritage of the French culture and art style along with the way of life who helped influence her own Art until her departure to Almeria, Spain her hometown.

However, her adult return to Spain will ultimately inspire her creating and establish her own and unique style often described as "Art-Nouveau Andaluz", as she fell in love with the beauty of Andalousian landscapes and the Mediterranean ambiance.

 

 

 


 

 

Much of what Almeriane learned through Poetry, Andalousian tales and Spanish *coplas* (songs) influenced her paintings.

A few years later, Almeriane will come back to Paris, France as a self-taught painter and expose at Le Salon National des Beaux-Arts in "The Musee du Louvre" and "The Grand Palais" winning and being awarded prizes such as "La Toile d'Or" in December 2006, for her oil painting "Alegria". She was decorated by "The Fédération Nationale de la Culture Française"

 

 


 

Decided  to  vehicle  the  emotions and poetry of  "L'Art Nouveau Andaluz", Almeriane  will  travel across Europe and offer exhibition of her Art, in countries  like  Austria,  France,  Germany,  Italy, This way

by  multiplying  the exhibits She has  enriched  her prizes  and  awards collection,  each  time  a  bit  more  with  in November  2007 the  "Premio Calice D'oro  &  the Diploma D'onore" at the * Mostra Antiqua  Florentia*, by the Galleria  Centro Storico de Firenze, Italy and the Centro Server de Milano, Italy.

 


 

 

The most important compliment was yet to come with the acquisition by Spain's King for "El Real Palace of the Zarzuela, in Madrid". In other words, The King's Private Collection which qualify as the ultimate appreciation of her Art among the Tributes, and integration in the Larousse Dictionary of the quoted artists since the 15th Century.

Along with the Spanish King, The Baroness Thyssen is another world renowned Art Collector who owns several originals pieces of Almeriane Art works in her gigantic Private Collection and often ordering Private paintings and having them exposed in her numerous Museums across Europe.

Nowadays passion keeps leading her brushes to the rhythms of Flamenco, as she keeps mesmerizing us with the colors of the shapes representing the scenes of her oil and watercolors paintings inspired by poems and making the "Art Nouveau Andaluz" an unique legacy.
